May 18, 1935, Lockheed delivers a new 10A (1023) to Northwest Airlines bearing registration NC14934. The Electra was added to the route flying Chicago to the Pacific Northwest; seven years later, NC14934 was one of several Lockheed Electras sold by Northwest to the USAAF to help with the war effort. On June 11, 1942, the USAAF received the Electra and the registration was changed to 42-57216. Flying for roughly a year it was withdrawn from use in November 1943. Whether a crash or any sort of substantial damage was the cause of the withdrawal is unclear; however, if this aircraft was indeed withdrawn then it was likely scrapped soon after or was left to sit for a number of years before being scrapped.
